Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence, often referred to as EI or EQ, has been shown to be a more powerful predictor of success than cognitive abilities, or IQ.

Emotional intelligence refers to one?s ability to understand and constructively use the information contained in emotions. EI becomes increasingly important as one moves up the ladder of responsibilities in that the competencies necessary for effective management and leadership become more and more about social and emotional effectiveness and less about functional skill.

Leadership Performance Systems (LPS) utilizes assessment tools, face-to-face and online development processes, and supporting publications to deliver training and coaching to increase individual, team and organizational effectiveness through the lens of EI.

Coaching and Training:

LPS designs and delivers EI coaching and training in alignment with business strategy. We link social and emotional functioning to identified competencies as deemed important for each organization.
